Mrs. Betty Kitkoski

January 31, 1938 — July 31, 2017

Mrs. Betty Kitkoski, 79, of Montgomery passed away Monday, July 31st at CHI St. Lukes Hospital in The Woodlands. Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, August 3rd from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel, followed by a rosary at 7:00pm. A funeral Mass celebrating her life will be at 10:00am, Friday August 4th at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery Rev. Elias Lopez will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Betty was born January 31, 938 in Dayton, Texas to Stanley and Rose (Walkoviak) Cone. She married Archie Kitkoski November 10, 1956 and together they had four children. Betty was a devoted wife of almost 61 years and a homemaker who assisted in the family business, Kit’s Industries, as well. Her family, children and grandchildren always came first. She enjoyed frequent trips to Louisiana where she would indulge her guilty pleasure, the casinos. Archie, Betty and the children enjoyed a lifetime of weekends at the family farm in Anderson, until her health the last few years made it difficult to get there often.

She is survived by her loving husband, Archie Kitkoski of Montgomery; daughters and son-in-law Lynda and Mike Russell of Spring and Kathy Wingard of Anderson; sons and daughters-in-law Archie, Jr. and Cathy Kitkoski of Conroe and Kenny and Connie Kitkoski of Conroe; sisters and brother-in-law Irene Schonefeld of Montgomery, Verna Kitkoski of Anderson and Bobbie and Ted Lapko of Friendswood; grandchildren Brian Russell, Ryan Wingard, Shelli Russell, Nikki Russell, Nolan Kitkoski, Kenadi Kitkoski and Kyler Kitkoski.

Mrs. Kitkoski’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Annie Clara Cone and Vickie Bednar; and brothers Rufus and Frank Cone.
