Mrs. Francis Roese

Mrs. Franziska (Francis) Roese, 84 of Washington passed away Thursday, January 24th at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, January 31st at Nobles Funeral Chapel with interment following in Friedens Church Cemetery in Old Washington. Visitation with the family will begin one hour prior to the service. Rev. Henry Sanders will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Noble Funeral Chapel.

Francis was born August 2, 1934 in Germany to Friedrich and Bertha (Munch) Graeble. She met Glenn "Bubba" Roese when he was stationed in Germany and the couple were married there in 1955.

Francis loved shopping, whether at the actual stores or through catalogs. She collected dolls, angels and numerous other trinkets. She was always impeccably dressed. She loved telling stories, particularly those involving her and her late husband, Bubba Roese. Francis adored animals, and loved her birds and dogs.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Henry Roese and his wife, Pearl of Washington.

Serving as pallbearers are T. J. Roese, Chase Roese, Dustin Buro, Colton Buro, Patrick Busa, Robbie Roese and honorary pallbearer Terry Joe Roese.

She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws Joe and Olga Roese and husband, Glenn "Bubba" Roese.
