Mrs. Maria Inez Alfaro

Mrs. Maria Inez Alfaro, 85 of Navaosta, passed away Sunday, April 8th at her home. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Tuesday, April 10th at Nobles Funeral Chapel, followed by a rosary at 7:00pm. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, April 11th at Christ Our Light Catholic Church with Rite of Committal in Oakland Cemetery. Rev. Elias Lopez will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Maria was born August 29, 1932 in Mercedes, Texas to Ancelmo and Manuela (Lopez) Mata. She married Faustino Alfaro and together they had six sons. She is survived by her loving husband, Faustino Alfaro; sons and daughters-in-law Jose and Isabel Alfaro, Lupe and Dalia Alfaro, Juan and Rosemary Alfaro, Raul and Gloria Alfaro, Augustine and Rosalinda Alfaro and Oscar and Olga Alfaro; sisters and brother-in-law Herminia Ramirez and Emilia Mirelez and husband Fransisco; brothers Hilberto and Ricardo Mata; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Jessie Valadez, III., Juan Alfaro, Jr., Agustin Alfaro, Jr.,
Alberto Alfaro, Esteban Alfaro and Agustin Morales, Jr.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents; brother Manuel Mata and sister, Lupe Balboa.
