Mrs. Rita Blount Johnson

Mrs. Rita (Blount) Johnson, 72, passed away Sunday, November 30, at her home in Anderson. Visitation with family and friends will be held at Nobles Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 5th from 5:00 - 7:00pm. A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday, December 6th at 2:30pm with the Rev. Danny Davis officiating. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Keith. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Rita was born on April 14, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Talmadge and Minnie Ann (Hutchison) Blount. She is survived by daughter and son-in-Law, Julie and Tom Reardon and son and daughter-in-law Steve and Christina Trant; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Jim Kyle; grandchildren Melanie Connolly, Jessica & Jorge Velasquez, Jonathan & Kristin Byars, Matthew Reardon, Anthony Herrera, Sofia Trant and Samantha Trant; great-grandchildren Destin, Faith, Lilliana and Noah. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Johnson and daughter Cheri Ivy.
