Mr. A. J. Kolojaco Jr.

February 27, 1940 - March 19, 2017

A.J. Kolojaco, Jr., of Waller, Texas passed away Sunday, March 19th at his home. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00pm. A celebration of his life will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 23rd at Salem Lutheran Church in White Hall with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Richardson will officiate. A.J. was born in Fairbanks, Texas on February 27, 1940 to Adam James Kolojaco, Sr. and Clara Irene (Driessner) Kolojaco. He met Norma Sue Harrington and they wed on July 30, 1960 in Houston. Together they had three children. A. J. worked in construction maintenance for many years, but is perhaps best known as the “church bell ringer” at Salem Lutheran Church. He is survived by his devoted wife of over 55 years, Norma Kolojaco of Waller; daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Randy Murders of Arkansas; sons and daughters-in-law Adam James Kolojaco, III. And wife Judy of Magnolia and Curtis James Kolojaco and wife Darla of Navasota; sister Theresia Tucker of Victoria; brothers and sisters-in-law Raymond and Carrie Kolojaco of Kendleton and Keith and Brenda Kolojaco of Somerville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A.J. was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Kolojaco. Serving as pallbearers are Adam Kolojaco of Waller, Curtis Wayne Kolojaco, Jr., of Hunnington, Steven Hight of Houston, Jim Ford of Houston, Jon Base of Waller and Travis Kolojaco of Longview.
