Mrs. Ardie Mae Schroeder

Ardie Mae Finke Schroeder, 84, of Anderson, entered into eternal rest at St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan on Monday, January 13, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service immediately following at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 2:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Anderson with interment to follow in Zion Church Cemetery. The Rev. Kermit Bastelman will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Ardie Mae was born in White Hall, Texas on April 13, 1929, the daughter of William Henry Finke and Katy Schroeder Finke. She married Mr. Charlie F. Schroeder and together, they raised a son, Milton.
Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her son Milton and his wife Wanda of Anderson, a sister, Eleanore Feldmann of White Hall, a sister-in-law, Lillian Wellmann of Washington; three grandchildren, William Schroeder and Mallory, Stephen Schroeder and Miranda, and Stephanie (Schroeder) and Dave Cole; as well as six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schroeder was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie F. Schroeder, sister-in-law Hilda Molitor, brothers-in-law Edwin Molitor, Fritz W. Wellmann, JR. and Wilbert Feldmann.
Serving as pallbearers are Billy Robbins of White Hall, Don Wellmann of Washington, Charles Wellmann of Conroe, Darryl Shimshack of College Station, Ricky Schroeder of Anderson and Larry Harvey of Iola. Honorary Pallbearers are Gerald Schroeder, William Schroeder, Stephen Schroeder and Dave Cole.
