Mr. Ben Allen Bosse

March 11, 1955 - March 30, 2017

Mr. Ben Allen Bosse, 62 of Navasota, died Thursday, March 30th at Navasota Nursing and Rehab. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Saturday, April 1st at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of his life will be on Sunday, April 2nd at 2:00pm at Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C. with Rev. Greg Felder presiding. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Ben was born March 11, 1955 in Navasota, Texas to Ben W. and Minetta (Borgstedte) Bosse. He graduated from high school in Brenham, Texas and worked most of his life as a truck driver for J. Youen’s Lumber and Navasota Roofing. He also worked for Germania, Tex Barbeque, and operated machinery for Robert Jensen. He loved racehorses and was a lifelong member of Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne and JoAnn Bosse of Washington and Neal and Betsy Bosse of Navasota; nieces and nephews Sally Stroech of Washington, Susan and Michael Gendolfe of Cibolo, Kevin and Ginger Bosse of Brenham and Eddie and Michelle Bosse of College Station. Serving as pallbearers are James Stolz, Gary Hartstack, Robert Jensen, Travis Eckert, Ben Bosse and Will McKeown. Honorary pallbearers are Earl “Skipper” Stegemoller and Ricky Krueger. Ben was preceded in death by his parents and niece Sandra McKeown.
