Mrs. Bertha L. McGinty

Bertha L. McGinty, 62, of Houston, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be held at 9:00am , Saturday, August 30th at Salem House of Blessings in Navasota, with a home-going celebration to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be in the Nibblett Cemetery. Rev. Charles Tompkins will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Bertha was born to Arthur and Virginia Lucille (Stowers) Lattimore on February 2, 1962 in Navasota. She is survived by her step-mother, Corine Lattimore of Navasota; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and John Johnson of Houston; sisters and brothers-in-law Patricia Lattimore of Houston and Mosie and Charles Arrington of Houston, one grand-daughter, Katelyn McGinty of Houston, extended family members Archie and Janice McGinty of Navasota, Ronnie and Beverly McGinty of Navasota, Linda McGinty of Navasota, Felicia Carmoushe of Navasota, Patricia Ringgold of Houston, and Minnie McGinty of Navasota.
She is preceded in death by her parents and former husband, James McGinty.
