Charles Robert Browning, 74, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, September 18, at his residence. Service will be held at The Madley Chapel in Oakland Cemetery on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Browning was born in Gilmer, Texas on Tuesday, January 17, 1939, the son of Alvin and Clarice (Roebuck) Browning.
He was a graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of 1961. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Browning is survived by his wife, Marjorie Browning; sons, Allen Browning and his wife Isabel of College Station, and Mark Browning of Frisco; grandchildren, Arron Browning and Kai Browning.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
