Charlie was born in Houston on August 24, 1956, to Adam and Tina (Kitkoski) Pasket as the oldest of five siblings who he loved dearly. Charlie spent much of his younger years on the ranch with his Grandpa Pasket, who he idolized, and developed a love for the land and cows that never left him. Charlie graduated from Sam Houston High School and pursued a machining position at AZ International which he quickly mastered and continued to excel within the company. On February 11 of 1978, Charlie married the love of his life, Debbie Lynn Galaway and started a family shortly after. Due to Charlie’s education level and him quickly surpassing all possible managerial positions, Charlie decided to start a business alongside his brother, Mike, and together they founded C & M Machining in 1987. Through hard work and dedication, Charlie worked through the struggles of starting a business while at the same time raising his 3 boys with Debbie. He was a man of many accomplishments and strived to continuously support the youth of Grimes County, from serving on the school board for 4 consecutive 3-year terms to contributing to multiple organizations in the community. Charlie was also a lifelong member of Poor Boys and buyer of the Grimes County Fair.

Charlie had a bigger than life personality and was no stranger to anyone he met. No matter where you went, everyone knew exactly who Charlie Pasket was. He was so many things, to so many people; a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, a friend, a leader, a role model, and a father figure to many. He built a reputation of being a man of his word and giving his full heart to family and friends. He believed in morals, and through his morals, he led by example. His love was genuine, his friendship was loyal, and his presence dominated a room with his strong voice. He made a point to always stay in touch with his godchildren and loved being a support system for those in need in their darkest hour. He truly had the sweetest soul and warmest hugs.

Charlie loved our Lord and was a lifelong member and donor of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He had a love for baseball, from coaching his boys in Little League to being a proud spectator as they played high school and college baseball. His love of the game transpired to his grandchildren and even extended to the Astros where you could find him watching a game regularly with family and friends. Charlie had many hobbies and somehow found the time to enjoy it all. He loved hunting, fishing and had a passion for cows. He started a cattle business with one of his best friends, Gerald Sechelski. The two were often found looking over their cattle with a beer in their hand or cutting up on a tailgate with a packed cooler. And lastly but definitely not least, Charlie loved traveling with his wife on cruises and family in their RVs.

Charlie loved life and had many blessings he was thankful for. The greatest of those that he was the proudest of was his family. He loved his wife and sons unconditionally. Charlie took pride in instilling many of his greatest qualities and work ethics in his sons. He treated his daughter in laws like they were his own daughters, and the grandbabies completely melted his heart. They were his pride and joy and it showed in his eyes, actions, and words. He regularly carved out time to spend with his grandbabies. Charlie was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on in his sons and grandchildren.

We thank God for sharing Charlie with us even if it was for a short time.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Pasket; parents, Adam & Tina Pasket; sons, Russell Pasket & wife Lacy; Travis Pasket & wife Diane; and Scott Pasket & wife Tori; sister Debbie Wilson; brothers, Larry Pasket & wife Sherry, Michael Pasket & wife Lauren; Johnny Pasket & wife Mary; and Ronnie Pasket & wife Debbie; and grandchildren, Hayden, Braleigh, Brycen, Brantley, Lilah, and Levi.

Serving as pallbearers are Russell Pasket, Travis Pasket, Scott Pasket, Gerald Sechelski, Randy Nevels, Trey Kitkoski, Adam (Joey) Pasket, Sam Nobles, and Zack Hurst.
