Dolores Ann (East) Ofori

September 8, 1945 - January 16, 2022

Dolores Ann (East) Ofori, 76 of Navasota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16th at Golden Creek Healthcare and Rehab Center in Navasota. A memorial service will be held via Zoom on Saturday, February 5th at 2:00 pm using https://jworg.zoom.us/j/85823190984?pwd=aGhXMDlYZUd4K0h5aDVBbGdyZmY3QT09; meeting ID: 858 2319 0984 and passcode 776369. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel. Dolores was originally from San Francisco, California. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1963 and went on to pursue a career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Most knew her as “Momma Dee” and by her warmth and care for others. She always shared loving words of encouragement from the Bible and always made you feel as if you were one of her own, no matter who you were or where you were from. She married Samuel Ofori on November 20, 1982 and relocated to Navasota where she raised her family. Her family, close relatives and friends will truly miss her loving spirit and await the time when we can all enjoy the Bible’s promise to one day live forever in happiness - Psalms 37:29. Dolores is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Martin and Shauna Hill, David and Jessica Hill, Roy Hill, Benjamin Ofori and Abram Ofori; daughter and son-in-law Valeria and Anthony Mistretta; brother Ernest East, Sr., and grandchildren Kadyn, Erinn, Bobby, Brielle, Nehemiah, Aiyana, Mina and Moses, as well as numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. You are invited to leave kind words and fond memories at www.noblesfuneral.com.
