Mr. Donald Edward Tucker

Donald Edward Tucker, 65, of Iola passed away Monday, February 27th at his residence.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 12th at 1:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Donald was born January 28, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to Ernest and Ruby (Lackey) Tucker. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country. He married Shirley Linda Gay in 1982 and together they had two children. Donald worked as a power plant operator and loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He liked to travel when time permitted and was always willing to give anyone a helping hand.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Beth-Ann Tucker; son and daughter-in-law William and Ashley Tucker; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ben Reese; brother Wayne Tucker and grandson Nicholas Tucker.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda Tucker.
