Mrs. Dorothy Smith

Mrs. Dorothy "Dottie" Marie (Ripkoski) Smith, 71 of Plantersville, passed away Friday, January 3rd, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Dorothy was born in Navasota on February 13, 1948 to Joseph and Rosie (Naskrent) Ripkoski. She attended school in Navasota and then married the love of her life, Lawrence Smith of Plantersville, Texas. Dorothy worked and retired from Montgomery ISD. She was a loving, hard working and caring woman - a strong woman who always made sure those she loved never went without. She was a great-grandmother who loved and cherished her grandchildren – they were her life. She lived a long and blessed life and left her family many precious memories.
Dorothy is survived by daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Jason Carraway; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Sherry Smith; grandchildren Chance Carraway, Brittany Smith and Hailey Smith and numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives. Granny Dottie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
