Douglass Edward Komsie Jr.

Douglass Edward Komsie Jr., age 55 of Splendora, TX, passed away on July 13,2022. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 6th at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 105 West 32nd Street, Bryan, Texas.

Doug was born in Warren, Ohio on April 11, 1967 to Douglass Edward Komsie Sr. and Nancy Louise Hoskins.

Doug was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Edward Komsie, father, Douglass Edward Komsie Sr. and Grandparents.

Doug is survived by his two daughters: Keira Louise Komsie (Jonathan Scott) and Marisa Nicole Komsie (Hayden Moore); granddaughter Ella James and grandson Greyson Moore, mother, Nancy Myers, three sisters: Mary Ellen Ford, Cindy (Ray) Montoya, Annette (Art) Perrine, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends, including his brother from another mother, Roger Dale (Tanya) Brewer.

Doug loved his family and his dog Scout. He enjoyed many activities in the great outdoors including cooking, camping, hunting and fishing. He was extremely creative and loved to turn something old into something new. Seldom was there ever a project that he wouldn’t take on and complete. Doug was always willing to help others when and if he could. He will be missed by many.
