Mrs. Maria Milan

Mrs. Maria Milan, 64 of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, July 29, at CHI Grimes St. Joseph Hospital. A memorial Parish Rosary will be held Monday, August 3 at 6:00pm at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 4 at 10:00am in Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Elias Lopez officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Maria was born in Mexico on July 13, 1956, to Juan & Evangelina (Castro) Rosas. She married Artemio Milan on March 11, 1995, in Bryan, and she worked for the College Station ISD for many years.

She is survived by her husband Artemio Milan; mother Eva Castro; son Rene Milan; daughters and sons-in-law, Rosario Pizano, Lupe & Arturo Nunez, Maria & Hector Corona, Rocio & Eliseo Cortez, Elvia & Baltazar Avalos, Lucy & Jose Luis Coronilla, Cecilia & Simon Garcia, Mary Jean & Jesus Coronilla, Victoria Milan & Johnny Flores; brothers & sisters-in-law, Martin & Miriam Rosas and Fernando & Gloria Rosas; sisters and brother-in-law, Juana & Joseluis Rosas, Esperanza Rosas, Rita Rosas and Maria Rosas; grandchildren, Arturo & Laura Nunez, Jazmin & Omar Padron, Cindy, Brenda, Diego, Tenorio, Luis & Abby Nunez, Juan Manuel and Megan Milan, Juan, Victoria, Teresa and Christopher Corona, Jessica, Eric, Alexander, Andrea, and Elisabeth Cortez, Alexis, Joselius Jr. and JJ Coronilla, Miguel & Diego Coronilla, David Romero, Ariana Dickson, Jeremiah Flores, Christy & Alex Raymundo, Baltazar Avalos, Jr., Maria Isabelle & Christopher Munoz, and Kevin & Valerie Garcia; great-grandchildren, Ximena & Leah Padron, Cataleya Nunez, Isaiah Nicholas, Santiago Tenorio, Christina Jade Raymundo and Aidan Munoz.

Preceding her in death were her father Juan Rosas and sisters, Evangelina Rosas and Elena Rosas.
