Mrs. Maricruz Salazar Elias

Maricruz Salazar Elias, 36, of Navasota, died tragically in a car accident early Thursday morning, June 26th. Visitation with family and friends will be held at Nobles Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 30, 2014 beginning at 5:00pm, followed by a rosary at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ Our Light Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00am, celebrated by Rev. Juan Pineda. Rite of Committal will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Elias was born in Monterrey, Mexico and worked as a cashier just outside of Navasota. She is survived by her husband, Silvestre, and her two young children, Ivett and Andres; her parents Juan Salazar and Rosalinda Salazar Castillo; sisters and brothers-in-law Flor and Jose Amaya of Navasota, Elizabeth Gerardo Ramos of Mexico and Mayra and Raul Guajardo of Navasota; and a brother, Juan P. Salazar of Navasota and well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
