Mr. Mark Douglas Kuta

Mr. Mark Douglas Kuta, 68, of Plantersville, TX, passed away on Friday, March 10th. Visitation with family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 5PM to 7 PM, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a rosary immediately following. Funeral Mass service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 10:30 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stoneham, TX with Rev. Ed Kucera officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Stoneham, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Mark was born in Navasota, Texas on September 16, 1954, to Vance and Alma (Busa) Kuta. He attended and graduated Navasota High School. He also attended and graduated Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

He was known for farming ranching and especially farming watermelons. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and on the farm. Mark’s greatest accomplishment was his four children: Matthew, Amanda, Dustin, and Amber.

Mark is preceded in death by both his parents, Vance and Alma; grandchildren, Grayson Harmon, and Josie Westmoreland.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Matthew Kuta and his wife, Jennifer, Dustin Kuta, Amanda Harmon and her husband, Jeremy, and Amber Westmoreland and her husband, James; brother, Tim Kuta and his wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Blaine Kuta, Gracie Kuta, Leo Kuta, Jaxon Harmon, Lawson Harmon, Addyson Harmon, Jameson Westmoreland; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
