Mrs. Patricia Ann Wilson

Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Ann Wilson, 90, of Bryan passed away Sunday, May 22, at The Isle at Watercrest. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 27, at 10:00 AM in Oakland Cemetery with Deacon Russell Pasket officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Pat was born in Wolf Point, MT, on May 1, 1932, to Nathan & Genevieve Green. She moved to Spokane, WA, a couple of years after graduating high school to work as a bookkeeper at a bank. Pat met her future husband, “Willie” C.E. Wilson, in 1952 while he was stationed at Fairfield Air Force Base. The two married January 3, 1953, in Kootenai, ID.

Pat was blessed with a green thumb and loved working outside in her yard and taking care of her flowers. She was the envy of many because of her ability to have the most beautiful flower garden year-round. Anyone who knew and loved Pat will always think of her when they see beautiful landscaping. In her younger years she spent time volunteering with the Millican Ladies Club where she helped with the annual Halloween Festival. Pat also enjoyed playing cards, especially Tripoli, with Linda Hughes, Bonnie Hanson, Ruby Whitley, and Barbara Fougeron. She loved traveling with her friends, Betty Sterling, Virgie Smith, Viola Barker, and Jan McGrath, a group they named “The Roadrunners.” Pat was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Granny/GG was always happy to hear stories of her family members’ latest achievements. She deeply loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband C.E. Wilson, son Robert Nathan Wilson, and son-in-law Randy Stapp.

She is survived by her daughter Vicki Stapp of Fredericksburg; grandsons, Scott Stapp & wife Colleen of College Station and Philip Stapp & wife Stephanie of College Station; great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Wilson, Tucker, and Presley; and brother, Robert Green of Yuma City, CA.
