Mr. Reggie Parrott

Mr. Eddie “Reggie” Parrott, 68, of Anderson, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 31 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Anderson Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am Monday, August 1, also at the church, with the Rev. Glynn Little officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Anderson. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Reggie was born in Henderson, TX, on October 27, 1947, to Eddie & Linnie (Lee) Parrott. On December 6, 1968, he married Glenda Whitfield and together they raised two children. Reggie proudly served the City of Houston as a firefighter for 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Glenda Parrott of Anderson; daughter Trina Woods and husband Kevin of Anderson; son Eddie Allen Parrott and wife Jennifer of Anderson; sister Regina Bartlett and husband Danny of Magnolia; grandchildren, Justin & Shelby Parrott and Skyler & Abby Woods.
Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Allen Parrott, Kevin Woods, Chris Meek, Cheyenne Dorris, Justin Parrott, Ricky Smith, David Brevard, and Jason Mattern. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Bartlett, Bodie Hall, Aiden Hall, Colby Follette, Joe Mattern, and Hector Ramirez.
