Mrs. Robbie Peteete Downs

Mrs. Robbie P. Downs, age 98 joined the Lord on March 26th, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, March 29th at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota with Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Robbie was born in Singleton, Texas on May 12, 1919 to Thomas Eugene and Marion (Burns) Peteete. She married Holly Buford Downs and together they had a daughter. She was a longtime resident of Navasota. She loved her family, cooking, traveling, hunting and fishing, She especially enjoyed spending summers and holidays with her grandsons, Craig and Clint Nunnally.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter and son-in-law Barbara (Downs) and Gordon Nunnally; grandsons Craig Nunnally and wife Lesa, and Clint Nunnally and wife Amber; great grandsons Hunter, Chase and Slade; great-granddaughter Holly; one great-great grandson and three great-great grand daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Holly Downs; two brothers and four sisters.
