Mrs. Sylvia Dominic Viets, 78, of Navasota passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Sylvia was born in Dallas, Texas on August 31, 1935, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Hale) Dominic.
Mrs. Viets was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Viets; sisters, Carolyn Thornberg and Donna Dominic Naquin.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve Paul & Donna Viets of Plantersville; sister & brother-in-law, Jimmie & Gene Webb of Dallas; brother & sister-in-law, Albert & Theresa Dominic of Nacogdoches; two grandchildren, Britny Viets & Heather Viets; three great-grandchildren, Lanceston Viets, Socia Viets, and Kyla Rabun. and a special friend, Gwendolyn Nobles.
