Beto was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on July 3, 1946 to Jose and Maria Erives. He grew up in Mexico. He married his soulmate, Juanita, on January 6, 1973. He moved his wife and children to Navasota, Texas to build a better life in the United States. He worked hard his whole life to make sure his children had an education, and knew the value of working for better opportunities. He loved being outdoors, and enjoyed sitting in the sunshine on his porch, watching birds, and other wildlife, but his favorite place to be was with his wife and family. He and Juanita were inseparable. They were married 50 years, and made sure they kept their vows of "for better or worse, in sickness and in health". He was a very quiet person, and enjoyed people's company in silence at times. He was the master of "dad" jokes, and had lots of sayings and quotes that he lived by. He loved a good mariachi song, Mexican music, and singing with his wife. He was a master-of-all trades, and loved to weld and do woodwork.
He will be deeply missed forever by his family and friends.
