Brenda Sue Abke

Brenda Sue Abke, 66, of Conroe, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital in The Woodlands. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Nobles Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Whitehall with Ricky Alderete officiating.

Brenda Sue was born to Ervin Abke and Christine Hemann Abke on September 25, 1957 in Navasota, Texas. She attended and later graduated from Aldine ISD. Brenda’s life was centered around her family and friends. Her most prized possession was nurturing and loving on her nieces and nephews as her very own. To know Brenda was to love her. She enjoyed creating floral designs and decorating.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin Abke and Christine Hemann Abke; her brother, Rickie Abke; her sister-in-law, Jean Abke; and her niece, Wendy Lee.

Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Johnnie Abke and his wife, Sheryle, Gary Abke and his wife, Denise, Rodney Abke and his wife, Sandy, Dennis Abke and his wife, Cheryl; her sisters, Carol Ditta and her husband Damon, Kimberely Locke and her husband, Glenn; her nieces and nephews, Susan Abke, Eric Abke, Rachel Abke, Amanda Maldonado and her husband, Simon, Valerie Lipsey and her husband, Jordan, Brittany Abke, Shaun Abke and his wife, Tamara. Jeffrey Ditta and his wife, Megan, Morgan Fuson and her husband, Holden, Samantha Kramr and her husband Tyler, Patrick Locke and his wife, Stephanie; over 25 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
