Mrs. Carolyn O. Kellogg

Carolyn Kellogg, 85, of Iola, passed away on Monday, August 28 2023, in Bryan. Texas. Graveside viewing will begin at 10 am, with services starting at 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, at Evergreen Baptist Church in Iola. Services are in the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Carolyn was born to her parents, Red and Mamie Ogletree on November 2nd, 1937, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed her high school education in Springhill, Louisiana and went to college at Centenary in Shreveport, Louisiana to study English. Carolyn married her husband Claude on February 22nd, 1958 in Springhill, LA. Culminating in 65 years of beloved marriage. She was most proud of being loving mother to her two sons, Kevin Guy, and Kelly Gregg. She and Claude would make their house into a home for their family. Carolyn had a professional career employed as an insurance adjuster. She was most happy at the role of mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Red and Maime Ogletree, her sister and brother-in-law, Colleene, and Don Davis. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Claude Kellogg; her sons, Kevin Guy Kellogg and Kelly Gregg Kellogg, her grandchildren Lindsey Jurca and her husband, Andrei, Alexander Vaughan Kellogg and fiancé Jen Tresnan, Matthew Redmond Kellogg, and his wife Jordan, and great grandson Cole Michael Kellogg.
