Constance Vivian "Connie" Baxter St. Claire, 63, of Port Lavaca passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008, in Port Lavaca. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27 at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. Visitation will be held Sunday with the family present from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Connie was born Sunday, October 22, 1944 to Curtis and Barbara Ann (Warzon) Baxter in Edinburg, TX. She married Bennye J. St. Claire on May 15, 1989 in Navasota, TX. Connie was a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. St. Claire is survived by her husband, Bennye St. Claire of Port Lavaca; son, Steven Hughes of Austin; and sisters & brothers-in-law, Dorothy & Andrew Hughes of Navasota, and Kathy & David Paul of Navasota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
