Dan Gaskill, 74, of Navasota, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in College Station. Celebration of Life Service is scheduled 11:30 am, Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Cowboy Church in Brenham. Private Inurnment service will be held later. Cremation services are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Dan was born to his parents Neal and Jeanette Mrstick Gaskill, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Saturday, February 24,1951. Dan was a member of the Cowboy Church of Brenham. He enjoyed sports, especially football, baseball, and golf.

After graduating from high school, Dan proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served with honor during the Vietnam War. While stationed in Vietnam, he specialized in water purification, an expertise he would carry into civilian life. Upon returning home, Dan applied his skills as a plant operator at the Waste Water Treatment Facility in Bryan/College Station, dedicating many years of service before retiring.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Jeanette Gaskill; older brother, Dave.

Left to cherish his memories is his son: Jason Gaskill, and wife, Mitzi, of Louisiana; daughter: Jennifer McColl, and husband, Jared, of Jacksonville, Texas; sisters: Judy Ferguson, and husband, Ken, of Utah, and Janet Fincher and husband of Nevada; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
