Darcia Jean Kramer Falco, a cherished wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 76. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Nobles Funeral Chapel from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow in Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Larrabee officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel.
A longtime resident of Houston, Texas, Darci was born on June 27, 1948, in Marquette, Kansas, to Fred and Mona Kramer.
Darci's life was marked by a love for learning and an unwavering devotion to her family. After graduating from Navasota High School in 1966, she earned a degree in education from Sam Houston State University, where she was a proud member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
In 1969, Darci married the love of her life, John Falco. Together, they shared 55 beautiful years filled with laughter, adventure, and quiet moments of joy. Whether they were reading and cooking together, sharing a glass of wine on the back deck while watching squirrels and birds, or cruising to far-off places with family—Darci found happiness in the little things, especially in the company of those she loved. Alaska held a special place in her heart, and her eyes would light up when reminiscing about the serene landscapes and shared memories made there.
Darci is survived by her devoted husband, John Falco; her brother, Steve Kramer, and his wife Simone; her sister, Barbara Kramer; and her nieces: Melanie Reeves and husband Harold, Michelle Sechelski and husband Paul, and Brittney Kramer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mona Kramer.
Darci will be remembered for her gentle soul, her warm smile, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A service will be held to honor her life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at Nobles Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to First Baptist Church Navasota or the SPCA.
