Edward Moore

Edward Moore, our beloved Eddie, passed away on August 27, 2026. Eddie was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He never met a stranger; his kindness was an endearing quality.

Eddie was born in Oklahoma City, OK on April 29, 1965, and moved to Texas at a very young age. He attended school in Anderson, TX. He moved to Dallas, TX as an adult where he lived for many years. He recently relocated back to Grimes County.

Eddie’s passion for Sci-Fi, classic cars, and semi-trucks is something he will be remembered for. Eddie’s passion for semi-trucks allowed him to travel across America while he worked for various trucking companies. Anyone that knew him knew not to get him started on Star Trek.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sequeta, and father, David, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his sister, Tanya Banks, and brother, Anton Moore, nieces and nephews, Ramon Banks, Rana Banks, Cameron Moore, Shanisha Moore, Khalia Moore, Kimiko Moore, and Kyrie Moore as well as cousins from Oklahoma, Michigan, Florida, and Texas along with his church family at CTOP and so many friends. Eddie would wish you all, “To live long and prosper.”
