Frances Seigle Walkoviak

Dec 19, 1930 — Sep 9, 2026

Navasota

Frances Seigle Walkoviak, 95, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 29 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Nobles Funeral Chapel followed by a parish rosary at 7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Frances was born in Richards, TX, on December 19, 1930, to John & Martha (Borski) Seigle. She was a devoted employee of Kenwin Dress Shop and Dress for Less from 1978 – 1997. She then went on to work for Turner Pierce & Fultz before retiring in 2019. Her favorite memories from her occupations were the cherished time she had visiting with her customers.

She truly had a servant’s heart as she would do anything she could to help others. She loved to cook, and she made sure everyone had plenty to eat. When she wasn’t cooking, Frances could be found spending time with her cherished great-grandchildren, rooting for the Astros, or watching country and polka music shows. Frances believed in honoring her deceased loved ones’ memories by regularly visiting their gravesites to clean them up and leave fresh flowers.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.H. “Arch” Walkoviak; son, Kenneth Walkoviak; daughter-in-law, Frances Jo Walkoviak; sisters, Barbara Cortemelia, Verna Sechelski, and brothers Mack, David, Arch, and Thomas Seigle.

She is survived by her son, Larry Walkoviak from North Liberty, IA, along with his children, Aaron (Neisha) and their children, Jackson, Eliza, and Kade; Adam (Carrie) and their children, Avery, Josie, and Natalie; Mark, and Alan and his children, Addison, Ainsley, Alexander, and Audrie; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sharleen Walkoviak of Houston; Kenneth’s children, Thomas & Ashley Walkoviak of Bryan, and their children, Savannah and Jackson; Michael & Cassi Walkoviak of Anderson, and their children, Emmy and Easton; sister Doris Matheson; a very special friend and caregiver, Daphne Kopycinski.
