Gail Boone, 83, of Bryan, formerly of Navasota, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, in Bryan. Gail’s family will receive guests during visiting hours from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2026, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Navasota with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.

Gail was born to Barron and Ethel (Hooper) Bull, on Friday, December 4, 1942, in Harris County. After graduating high school, she began a long and productive career in office administration. She was blessed with two children, Tracy (Boone) Krumrey, and Gordon Scott Boone, and a 57-year marriage to her soulmate, Latham Boone, III.

Gail was an intelligent, funny, charming, talented woman who loved to read, sing, dance, and spend time with her family. She also loved to travel, having gone on many cruises and adventures with her husband, Latham. She enjoyed her time as office manager for Weaver Apiaries in Navasota where she was “Queen Bee” and served for many years as office manager for the American Cancer Society in Bryan. Her compassion and professional comfort welcomed many into her care. Gail had an exceptional ear for music and was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, sharing her talent through church choirs, Christmas cantatas, and local theater. She was truly an inspiration and refreshing spirit to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Barron and Ethel, and her beloved daughter Tracy. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Latham Boone, III; her son, Gordon Scott Boone; her brothers, Ronnie Spivey and wife Janet and Gary Spivey and wife Frances; brother-in-law Shelton Boone and wife Cheryl, sister-in-law Laura (Boone) Teller, son-in-law, Randy Krumrey; four grandchildren, Somer Zimmer and husband Marcus, Matt Foster and wife Lori, Andrea Krumrey, and Zachary Boone and wife Jinel; five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a large family of beloved nephews and nieces and their families.

Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Spivey, Gary Spivey, Randy Krumrey, Matt Foster, and Zachary Boone.

Memorial contributions can be given to the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
