Glenn Garlin Vaughn, Jr.

Glenn Garlin Vaughn, Jr., 83, of Navasota, TX, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, at 10:00 AM at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Williams officiating. Lunch will be held at Millican Community Center immediately following funeral services.

Glenn was born January 13, 1941 to both Glenn Vaughn, Sr. and Ellen Vaughn in Houston, Texas. He attended and later graduated John H. Reagan high school. He met and later married the love of his life, Lois Vaughn. To this union four children were born: Glenn III, Benjamin, William, and Sallie. He was a devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He treasured all the things his parents instilled in him while being diligent to lend a helping hand to others.

He was family-oriented, which he loved to spend time with his family by visiting them whenever he had a chance to do so. Glenn enjoyed running his farm, assisting in his local church, and being a hardworker.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Garlin Vaughn, Sr. and Ellen Vaughn, his grandmother, Buddie Shackleford; his brother, Charles Vaughn; and his grandchild, Codie Vaughn.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Lois Vaughn; his children, Glenn Garlin Vaughn III, Benjamin Keach Vaughn and his wife, Jennifer, William Trenton Vaughn and his wife, Andie, and his daughter, Sallie Kate Vaughn; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Malcomb Vaughn and his wife, Toni; sisters, Linda Kervin and her husband, Buddy, Ellen Hambrick and her husband, Jimmy Sullivan; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
