Jean St. John Larrabee

Jean St. John Larrabee, 97, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2024 in College Station, Texas. Daughter of the late David B. St. John and Mary Thompson St. John, she was born February 12, 1927 in Calloway County, Kentucky. The family lived in Paris, Tennessee, where Jean attended and graduated from Grove High School. She attended Murray State University, then moved to Dallas and was a flight attendant for Braniff Airways until her marriage to the late Dr. Clyde O. Larrabee. She continued work as his office manager until 1992.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Larrabee of Georgetown, Texas; son, Rev. Clyde O. Larrabee and wife, Stacey, of College Station; sister, Joann Ingle of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Anna Larrabee, Viktor Larrabee, and Kaitlyn Larrabee.

Graveside services will be held at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to U.T. Southwestern Medical School, or the American Cancer Society.
