John Lantz, age 85, of Navasota Texas, passed away on October 3, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Celebration of his life will be held on October 14th, 2023 from 2pm-5pm at the Grimes County Fair and Expo in the Go Texan Building. Cremation service is in the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
John was born January 7, 1938, in Wheeling, West Virginia to his parents, John Lantz and Opal James.
John was a big hearted family man with a love for antiquing. He is and always will be loved by many and will be missed by all. He was a mentor, jokester, and friend to everyone he encountered.
John is survived by his brother, Herman Joseph Lantz; his soul mate, the mother of his children, Alice Jo Lantz ;their daughters, Livia Ybarra and husband Mike Jr, Johnnie Lantz and husband Tim; and their son Ricky Fetters and wife Karen; Sister-in-law Mary Jane Reisert and husband Edward.
His grandchildren John, Chris, Alicia, Mike III, Coushatta, Jessie Jr, Tj, Cheyenne, Shelly, Richard, Sheryl, and Sherry. Plus the many great and great great grand children.
