John I. McKay, 83, of Navasota, passed away Thursday, August 27, at CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 2, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 3, at 10:00 AM in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
John was born to Charles Dean & Goldie (Chasteen) McKay in Grimes County on March 20, 1943.
John is survived by his wife Blanche McKay, sons, Mike McKay & wife Rachel and Chad McKay & wife Alyssa, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
