Joyce Stolz Havard

Joyce Stolz Havard, 78, of Navasota, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in her home. No public service will be held honoring Joyce’s request. Cremation services are in the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Joyce was married for forty-four years to her husband, Morgan. They enjoyed trips to Bandera where they made many friends while dancing and listening to country music at Arkey Blue’s Silver Dollar.

There were many road trips with her sisters where they went shopping and surely enjoyed a lot of laughs being chauffeured by her niece, Jennifer.

She attended Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery, often joined by her son and stepdaughters.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Melinda Stolz, son Brian Prescott, sisters Ruthie “Cotton” Bouldin and Grace Parker. Waiting across the Rainbow Bridge is her beloved Sassy.

Survivors include husband Morgan, son Stephen Prescott, sisters Alverne “Sis” Stegemoller, Rose “Bugger” Guenther and husband Jimmy, Pat Boenker and husband David “Bugger Red”, granddaughters Rhiannon and Shana Prescott, grandsons Britton and Dillon Prescott, stepdaughters Velina Havard, Brooke Havard-Chavis and husband Allen, great grandchild Stephen Prescott, several nieces and nephews, and last but not least, her sweet Dobbyn.

Joyce will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
