Mrs. Lou Ann Falkenbury Barth, 90, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 19 at 10:00 am, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Navasota. Funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am with Rev. Matthias Dinger officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Lou Ann was born in Big Wells,Texas on February 15, 1935, to Urda K. and Mary Lou (Cox) Falkenbury. She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1953 and married Nolan W. Barth on September 19, 1953. Lou Ann and Nolan were married for 59 years. She worked and retired from Horce Mann Jr. High, in Baytown Texas, in 1996 and moved to Navasota. Lou Ann was a member of LWML at Trinity Lutheran and the Ladies Auxiliary at the Navasota VFW. She was active in supporting her children and grandchildren in church and school activities in Baytown and Navasota. She loved and treasured her family and friends and activities at her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nolan W. Barth; father Urda K. Falkenbury, her mother Mary Lou (Cox) Falkenbury, her son Kermit Eugene Barth, son Robert Nolan Barth and sister-in-law Merdie Mae (Barth) Kothmann.
Lou Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sharon Elizabeth (Barth) and Wayne Allen Ganske of Navasota, Texas; her son David William and Tammy Kay (Thompson) Barth of Baytown, Texas; grandsons Reggie L. Barth, Brandon W. Ganske, Chase A. Ganske and wife Elicia, Austin J. Barth and wife Leanne, granddaughters Dixie L. (Barth) King and husband Cody, Robin R. Barth; great grandchildren Gracelynn A. Ganske, Aria J. Barth, Levvi L. Barth, baby boy King and other friends that were very dear to her heart.
Serving as pallbearers are David W. Barth, Brandon W. Ganske, Chase A. Ganske, Gracelynn A. Ganske, Austin J. Barth, Cody W. King, and Brandon P. Jones.
Honorary pallbearers are Dixie L. King, Robin R. Barth, Leanne Barth, Elicia A. Ganske, Aria J. Barth, and Levvi L. Barth.
