Louise Patterson

Louise Patterson, 89, of Hearne, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th at 11 AM at Nobles Funeral Chapel, and will be officiated by Reverend Wesley Jackson. Visitation will occur at 10:00 am, with interment occurring after the service at Stoneham Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Louise was born on August 9, 1936, in Woodville, Texas, to Talmage Audren Brown and Lidde Elma Randolph. Her life was one marked by faith, family, and love. It was during a church revival that she met the love of her life, Henry Louis Patterson. They were united in marriage in Spring, Texas, and together they built a beautiful life, welcoming five children: Michael, Brenda, Douglas, David, and Daryl.

For the past 46 years, Louise made her home in Hearne, Texas, where she was known to find joy in life’s simple pleasures — reading, listening to old records, and preserving the fruits of her labor through canning. She took great pride in tending to the cows and was never afraid of hard work — known to toss a bale of hay with ease. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly and the memories she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Talmage and Lidde (Randolph) Brown; husband, Henry Patterson; sons, David Patterson and Daryl Patterson; brothers, Aubrey Brown, Dean Brown, and Carol Brown; sisters, Virgie Coons, Margie Stokley, and Rita Luce; son-in-law, Darvis Gordon; and daughter-in-law, Betty Patterson.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Michael Patterson and wife, Susan, Douglas Patterson, and Brenda Gordon; grandchildren, Tammy (James) Mushinski, Brad (Sarah) Patterson, Derrick (Carrie) Gordon, and Jeffrey (Maria) Gordon; great-grandchildren, Craig Gordon, Vincent Gordon, Victor Gordon, Joshua Gordon, and Jackson Patterson; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Derrick Gordon, Brad Patterson, Jeffrey Gordon, Craig Gordon, Vincent Gordon, and Victor Gordon. Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Gordon and Jackson Patterson.

Thanks to Accent Care Hospice, they were amazing with a special thanks to Mom’s nurse Sandra Rodriguez, & CNA Melinda Polk. We could not have done this without them. We appreciate everything they did for mom & us. We love them very much, they will be in our thoughts & prayers forever.
