Pauline was born to her parents, Wilhelm and Emma Finke Haferkamp, on Monday, November 25, 1935, in Navasota. She graduated from Navasota High School Class of 1954; she would then reside in Houston for 47 years before returning to her beloved Navasota. Pauline became an accounting secretary in her professional career. She was the world’s greatest mother to her four sons Kent, Keith, Kevin, and Kert. Her deep faith in her Lord Jesus, would lead her to becoming a Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Teacher for years at Salem Lutheran Church. Her commitment to loving her family and serving others is how she will be best remembered. She volunteered with a Houston Hospice Care Team and the Good Samaritan Thrift Shop. With all the wonderful gifts and treasures we were blessed with by Pauline, her love and competitiveness while playing dominoes won her many nights of laughter and good humor.
