One of God’s most beautiful souls was called home. Quinn Barrett Bosse, 21, passed away on the early morning of August 19, 2026, following a tragic accident outside the Bosse family ranch in Richards, Texas.
Born in Bryan, Texas, to parents Kimberleigh Logan Bosse and Robert Scott Bosse, Quinn grew up in Washington, Texas, alongside his brother and best friend, Blaine. The family of four was as close as any family could be, and they stood by each other, always, with an unbreakable tight-knit bond.
Quinn was a 2023 graduate from Brenham High School, and he was eagerly anticipating the first day of his senior year of classes at Sam Houston State University, on the day of his passing.
Quinn loved his animals, ranch life, hunting, and the outdoors. He was an avid skier and golfer. He was on the Brenham Jr. High and High School golf teams, where he lettered his sophomore year. He was also in 4-H and FFA and played football his freshman year. Quinn’s proudest moment was when he joined his brother, Blaine, when he was awarded the prestigious Eagle Scout Award, the highest Honor in Scouting.
Quinn was a truly Golden human being. He was a very respectful young man. He possessed the brilliant mind of an engineer, was loyal to a fault, had a grit and work ethic that were second to none, and possessed an ever-present thoughtfulness for others. He was the perfect combination of tough as nails and friendly, and his natural swagger and sarcastic wit brought laughter to everyone around him.
Above all, Quinn will be remembered for his steadfast love of our Lord, Jesus Christ. His faith guided his path, and he brought immense joy and light into the lives of everyone he touched. His absence leaves an immeasurable emptiness for all who loved him.
Quinn was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert “Bob” Bosse, Jr. He is survived by his loving parents, Kim and Scott Bosse; his brother, Blaine Bosse; his maternal grandparents, Ms. Jimmie Logan and E. Gordon Logan, Jr; his paternal grandmother, Alice Brown Bosse; his maternal uncle, E. Gordon Logan, III., his wife Lauri, and their children, Silas and Evan; his paternal uncle, Justin Brown Bosse, his wife Carla, his children Cody, Cheyenne, and Jordyn, and seven grandchildren; and his paternal aunt, Mauri Lynn Bosse Pasket, her husband Jeff, and their children, Shannon and Holly. He is also survived by his sweet girlfriend, Alyssa Chervenka, who brought so much happiness to his life, and who he loved deeply. He also leaves behind many extended family members, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Serving as pallbearers are Blaine Bosse, Kade La Sagna, Wyatt Akers, Kaden Seeker, Dustin Swonke, Braedyn McGinty, and Kevin Choufani. Honorary pallbearers are E. Gordon Logan, III, Evan Logan, Justin Bosse, Cody Bosse, Jeff Pasket, Caleb Martin, and Coleman Stamper.
Although we cannot understand why God called Quinn home so soon, we take comfort in knowing that he is now resting peacefully in the arms of his Heavenly Father. His life was a gift, his memory a blessing, and his love will remain a guiding light for his family and friends forever.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
