Tammy Jean McGee

Tammy McGee, 57, of Iola, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Bryan. Visitation will begin at 11 am, with the funeral service at 12 noon, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, both at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Officiating services is Brother Dean Miller. Interment will follow in Cross Cemetery in Cross. Services are in the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Tammy was born on Friday, March 29, 1968, in Houston to her parents Gene Archie and Mary Jo Gibbs Lloyd. Tammy completed high school on her own terms. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mom, grandmother to her family. She truly had a soft spot for all her family. Tammy was well known for only a few awesome cooking skills but loved entertaining her family. Her best time with family and friends was aboard a cruise ship sailing off to south. We will miss our Cozumel Queen and Carnival Cruise Lines will miss her too. Tammy was best on the outside enjoying nature to the fullest during various camping trips. Her beloved pets Whiskey and Bella will miss her. Tammy was rooted in a Christian faith with no restrictions to any denomination. She loved as her Saviour Jesus loves us.

Wayne Hargrave, Ray McKown, and Jazmine Holmes, all precede Tammy in death.

Tammy’s legacy lives on through her survivors, husband of thirteen years, Wesley McGee; her children Junior and wife Tia King and Kendall King; her siblings, James Hargrave, Mike Hargrave, Terry and wife Karen Hargrave, Teresa Hargrave and husband John Reeves, and Wendy McKown; her beloved grandchildren who meant the world to her, Kandice, DeWaine Parker, and Aubree; her nieces Brittany McKown and wife Celina McKown, Emma and husband Trevor Fairbanks; parents of Wesley, Bobby and Sharon McGee, and his sister, Kellie McGee; other relatives and close friends.

Honoring the life of Tammy as Pallbearers are Nick McAliley, Andrew Dyer, Terry Hargrave, Brittany McKown, DeWaine Parker, and Trevor Fairbanks.
