Thomas Patrick Baca, known to most as Pat, was born on April 15, 1949, in Navasota, Texas. He passed away on March 28,2026, just shy of his 77th birthday. Visitation with family and friends will be held Monday, April 6, 2026, at Nobles Funeral Chapel from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow in Martin’s Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Ray officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chaoel.
Pat was the son of Raymond Albert Baca and Doris “Fuqua” Baca. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Lytle “GeeGee” Fuqua; and his brother, Mike Baca and his wife, Jan.
He is survived by brother Jeff Baca and his wife Nenang, his sister Paula Schwartz and her husband Tommy, his son, Thomas Patrick Baca II; his daughters, Tracy Evans and her husband Cody, Michelle Baca, and Kayla Ellis and her husband James. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren—Ava, Trace, Van, Keaton, and Stetson—who meant the world to him and brought him endless pride and joy.
Pat dedicated many years of his life to the United States Postal Service, retiring after 36 years of service. He believed in hard work, showing up, and taking care of his family.
Outside of work, Pat lived life in a way that was simple but full. He loved cruising around in his pickup truck or Jeep with his loyal dog, Jackson riding along beside him. He enjoyed barbecuing, taking trips with his kids, and spending time with friends and family, often cracking jokes and making people laugh. Being around Pat meant hearing a good story, sharing a laugh, and feeling at ease.
He had a way of leaving an impression on people—everyone who knew him has a story they can tell. Whether it was his humor, his presence, or the way he connected with others, Pat will not be forgotten.
More than anything, he will be remembered for his easygoing spirit and the phrase he lived by: “It’s all good.” It was more than just something he said—it was how he approached life.
Pat was deeply loved, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. He will be missed beyond words and remembered always by those who knew and loved him.
